New Fire Truck Ordered

The Department has order a new pumper/tender to replace the fire apparatus that was vandalized earlier this year.

A 2009 Rosenbauer pumper/tender with a 2000-gallon water capacity and a pumping capacity of 1250 gallons per minute is expected to arrive for service in October 2010.  The new truck costs approximately $250,000.00 and is being paid for with insurance money collected from the vandalized truck.
